Food Network is a unique lifestyle network and website that strives to be way more than cooking. The network is committed to explorin new and different ways to approach food — like through pop culture, competition, adventure, and travel — while also expanding its repertoire of technique-based information. To make Food Network’s competitive spirit more apparent, this concept uses opposing colors and typefaces,
as well as repetitive typography to mimic the energy and adrenaline that is seen in the kitchen between the chefs and competitors on the network’s shows.
